The Kuatun horned toad or Kuatun spadefoot toad (Xenophrys kuatunensis) is a species of amphibian in the Megophryidae family. It is found in southeastern China and northern Vietnam. Its name is testimony to its type locality, Kuatun (Guadun in modern spelling: Chinese: 挂墩; pinyin: guàdūn) village in Wuyishan, Fujian.[2] Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.[1]
Males measure 28 mm (1.1 in) and females 37 mm (1.5 in) in length.[3]
