Xishan Coal and Electricity Power Group Company Limited or Xishan Coal and Electricity (Chinese: 西山煤电) is China’s largest and the world’s second largest coking coal production enterprise. It is headquartered in Taiyuan, Shanxi. It involves coal mining and processing, coal mining machine manufacturing, and electricity equipment repair.[1]
Its subsidiary, Xishan Coal Electricity Group Company Limited (SZSE: 000983), was established in 1999 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2000. It has 9 coal mines, 8 coal plants and 13 holding companies.[2]
