Xyleutes persona is a moth of the Cossidae family. It is found in the Indian Subregion, south-east Asia, Sundaland, Sulawesi, New Guinea and Queensland. The habitat consists of lowland forests.[1]

Adults are brown with black spots and speckles. There are irregular white patches along the inner and outer margins of the forewings.[2]

Larvae bore Casuarina trees and have also been recorded feeding on Durio and Premna species.
