Yahel Sherman, born May 12, 1976 is an Israeli trance music producer and DJ. He is known as DJ Yahel.

Yahel Sherman is one of the more popular DJ/Producers to rise from the global trance scene, travelling the globe playing at raves and clubs.[1] He was ranked at the respected 28th position in the top 100 DJ’s worldwide by DJ MAG.[2] Yahel is known for massive hits like 'Voyage', 'Intelligent Life', 'For The People', 'Soul' and 'Inta Omri' and is acknowledged by great names such as “DJ Tiesto”, “Paul Van Dyk”, Armin Van Buuren” and "Paul Oakenfold".

Yahel started Djing when he was only 14 years old.

In the year 2000, he had released his debut studio album which was called 'For The People'. The album had received a numerous support, especially thanks to the massive hit 'For the People' which got remixed by a lot of other producers. The meaning behind the album's name was that his music was literally made for everyone...'For The People'...

Also, on that year, Yahel had released the singles 'Voyage' and Devotion'. Devotion was remixed by Armin Van Buuren” And 'Voyage' was remixed by “DJ Tiesto”. Both became worldwide known tracks, making a significant impact on Yahel's career. Tiesto played 'Voyage' at the Dutch Dimension festival to thousands of people, took place at 2002.

His second album, 'Waves Of Sound' was already spreading the success in Israel and abroad with over 15,000 copies sold, which was a unbelievable number for the psy-trance scene, especially that time. Following his success, Yahel was invited by “DJ Tiesto” to record a track on his own label Black Hole.

Yahel released on Tiesto label a vinyl[3] contains the tracks 'Sky Walker' and 'Going Up' which was later remixed by Tiesto himself on 'Summerbreeze'. He had released over 10 studio albums and dozens of singles, vinyls, compilations and DJ mixes.

Back in the years 2005 - 2008 Yahel was working heavily with the singer Tammy Federman on vocal tracks. They have collaborated together on tracks like 'Ocean', 'Liquid Love', 'Radio', 'Save Me', 'Fear Of the Dark', 'That Night' 'Beyond' and many more. Tammy was featured in many Yahel's albums - 'Around The World', 'Super Set', 'Super Set 2, 'Supet Set 3 and 'Xport'. The two were performing together worldwide as Tammy was singing live vocals.

In 2012, he has collaborated with a new and talented musician, Singer/Songwriter by the name of Liya and produced the track "Creatures" who was signed to Paul Oakenfold label.

In 2013, the follow up of 'Creatures' was out and named 'I Dive'. Their track 'NoWhere' was featured on Super Set 3 album. In 2015, they have collaborated and created two tracks. The first was called 'Shadows', which got supported by Armin Van Buuren” on his radio show, and the second one was called 'Black Hole'.

Yahel is Vegan for many years and advocate Animal Rights. He performed for charity at "Vegan Fest Festival 2014" which took place in Israel and was the World's biggest vegan festival.[4] All profits went into charity.

Nowdays

Yahel continues to produce new music and perform worldwide in the biggest festivals, such as Tomorrowland.[5]

Yahel is active on Facebook and he uploads new music frequently to his SoundCloud account.
