Yanaqucha (Quechua yana black, qucha lake,[2] "black lake", hispanicized spelling Yanacocha) is a 5,138 m (16,857 ft) high mountain at a little lake of that name in the Waqurunchu mountain range in the Andes of Peru. The mountain and the lake are located in the Pasco Region, Pasco Province, Huachón District, south of Waqurunchu.[1][3]

The lake named Yanaqucha lies west of the peak at 10°33′34″S 75°55′48″W / 10.55944°S 75.93000°W / -10.55944; -75.93000.[3]
