Yanardag (Turkmen: Ýanardag, born 1991), is a stallion gold Akhalteke horse owned by President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov.[1] Often featured in newspaper and magazine articles, is a jewel of the coat of arms of Turkmenistan.[2][3]
In the political life of Turkmenistan
In the central part of the coat of arms of Turkmenistan upon that a smaller blue circle with a lifelike (rather than heraldized) depiction of gorgeous Akhal-Teke horse. Steed was born in the first spring of Turkmenistan independence in 1991.
Yanardag born in a certain sector "Akhal-yurt" a talented breeder Geldy Kyarizov, after the triumph in Moscow, he was the decoration of the President stables.[4][5]
In 2013, it was decided to build a monument with Yanardag sculpture at the intersection Andalib street and Kopetdag avenue in Ashgabat.[6]
