Yanick Etienne

Yanick Etienne is a Haitian singer and backing vocalist. She performed backing vocals on the hit song, "Avalon" in 1982.[1][2][3] She is the mother of rapper and producer Dernst Emile II, better known as D'Mile.[4]

Career

Etienne started her recording career in 1982, performing the backing vocals on the Roxy Music song, "Avalon".[5] She later appeared on three Bryan Ferry solo albums, Boys and Girls, Bête Noire, and Mamouna.[6]
