Yao Chin is a British actor, journalist and presenter. Known for playing one of the leading roles in the Universal Pictures film Doom alongside Dwayne Johnson and Rosamund Pike, he is currently starring alongside Manchester United players Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs in a commercial for Aeroflot.

Yao was a U.K. network news reporter, spending four years reporting on the ITV News' Morning News programme where he covered national and international stories.

Journalism

Yao worked as an assistant news editor and Westminster producer at ITV News during college. Upon graduating, he was hired by ITV News.[1] Working overnights, he was responsible for news gathering for ITN and the ITV News network, and he reported on subjects from politics and the economy, to foreign disasters and sport.

Acting

In 2015, Yao starred in a commercial campaign for Aeroflot as a Manchester United supporter.[2] He has also appeared in numerous other adverts and corporate videos.
