Yekaterinburg TV Tower is a tall incomplete structure in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Construction work started 1983, but was put on hold after the collapse of the USSR, as its shaft reached the height of 220 m (720 ft).[1] According to plans, the tower was intended to reach a structural height greater than 400 m (1,300 ft).[1]

Until the year 2000 it was illegally used for buildering and BASE jumping. After several fatal accidents, it was sealed.
