Yisa Sofoluwe

Yisa Sofoluwe (born December 28, 1967) is a former Nigerian football Defender. He won 40 caps and scored 1 goal for his country, and was their regular left back between 1983 and 1988, playing at the 1984[1] and 1988[2] African Nations Cups. He was nicknamed the "Minister of Defence" for his timely tackles and strong defensive performances. After the 1988 season, he left his club Abiola Babes to play in Belgium, where he fell into oblivion.
