You Kikkawa (吉川 友 Kikkawa Yū, born May 1, 1992 in Ibaraki Prefecture) is a Japanese pop singer and former member of Hello! Project.[1]

Biography

You Kikkawa was born on May 1, 1992 in Ibaraki Prefecture.[2] From April 7, 2007 until 2010, Hello! Project's official site listed her as a member of Hello Pro Egg, the trainee division.[3]

In 2004, She had done the role of Chava in the Japanese production of Fiddler on the Roof.

She appeared in the 2011 film Cheerfu11y.[4]

In a 2013 interview conducted by Japanese Entertainment website Nihongogo, Kikkawa reveals that her toughest opponent in the Hello! Project is Maimi Yajima from ℃-ute.[5]

On May 6, 2015, Kikkawa releases her 9th single, "Hana", which is the longest single among idol artists in Japan, with about 17 and a half minutes in length, with strong influences of Takarazuka.
