Yuliya Vladimirovna Chekalyova, also romanized Yulia Tchekaleva[1] (Russian: Юлия Владимировна Чекалёва; born 6 February 1984) is a Russian cross country skier who has competed since 2004.
Career
Her best World Cup finish was 11th in a 15 km event in Russia in 2007.
At the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo, she finished 16th in the 10 km and 22nd in the 30 km events.
Chekalyova is married to Alexey Kuritsyn, with whom she has a son, Matvey, born in 2012.[1]
