Yuri Shabanov

Yuri Fedorovich Shabanov (11 November 1937[1] – 30 March 2010) was a chess Grandmaster. He won the World Senior Chess Championship in 2003[2] and 2004.[3]

Shabanov twice won European Senior Teams championships, in 2002 with Schachak Moskau[4] and in 2006 with Dostoinstvo Moskau.[5][6]
