Yuzo Funakoshi (船越 優蔵 Funakoshi Yuzo, born 12 June 1977 in Kobe) is a former Japanese footballer who played as a striker. He was a member of the Japanese squad at the 1993 FIFA U-17 World Championship.

During his career, Funakoshi played for Gamba Osaka, Shonan Bellmare, Oita Trinita, Albirex Niigata and Tokyo Verdy. Overall he made well over 150 senior league appearances until a persistent injury forced his early retirement in early 2010. He is currently a coach at Thespakusatsu Gunma.
