ZZK Records is an electronic music record label based out of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The label grew out of an underground party in Buenos Aires called Zizek Club in 2006. Founders Grant C. Dull, Guillermo Canale and Diego Bulacio wanted to provide an outlet for new artists and producers who were combining the folk sounds of more traditional Latin-American music, notably cumbia, with hip-hop, reggaeton, dancehall, dubstep, and other electronic sounds.[1][2]

In 2008, ZZK Records established itself as an independent label giving international recognition to the artists behind the new sounds of electronic cumbia with the release of ZZK Sound Vol. 1: Cumbia Digital.[3]
