Z A Ahmad

Dr. Z. A. Ahmad (October 29, 1908 – 1999) was an Indian politician from Uttar Pradesh.

He was Member of the Rajya Sabha for four terms: 1958–1962, 1966–1972, 1972–1978, and 1990 to 1994.

From 1976–1978, he was Chairman of the Committee on Government Assurances of the Rajya Sabha. He was Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Committee of the Communist Party from 1951–56.

Ahmad is survived by his wife, Shrimati Hajrah Begum, and one daughter.[1]
