Zaitseve (Ukrainian: Зайцеве; Russian: Зайцево) is an urban-type settlement in Mykytivskyi District of Horlivka, a part of Donetsk Oblast in Ukraine.

Pro-Russian forces took the settlement under their control in the beginning of the War in Donbass, in 2014.[2]

Ukrainian forces reoccupied the settlement in the second half of 2015.[3][4]

The war has brought along both civilian and military casualties.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
