Zamal Nixon (born January 7, 1987) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Lavrio of the Greek Basketball League.After a successful four years at Houston College, Nixon entered the 2011 NBA draft but was not selected in the draft's two rounds.
College career
Nixon played college basketball for the Houston Cougars from 2007 to 2011
Professional career
After going undrafted in the 2011 NBA draft, Nixon joined Hertener Loewen. For the 2013–2014 season, he signed for WBC Raiffeisen Wels.[1] On August 15, 2014 Nixon signed with Phoenix Hagen after a successful tryout.[2] [3]
On 2015 he signed with Lavrio.[4]He went on to average 9.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals in 21 games for Lavrio.
