Zanele Situ is a Paralympian athlete from South Africa competing mainly in category F54 javelin events.

Biography

Situ has competed in three Paralympics, always competing in the three throwing events, the shot putt, discus throw and javelin. Her first and most successful games were in 2000 where she won a gold in the F52-54 javelin and a silver in the F51-54 discus. Four years later in Athens she won her second javelin title in the F54/55 class. Unfortunately she was unable to win any medals in her third Paralympics in Beijing in 2008.

Situ won the Whang Youn Dai Achievement Award in 2004.
