Zeal for Unity
Zeal for Unity is an upcoming Indian short film festival organised by Zee Zindagi. The festival will include 12 short films by 6 Pakistani and 6 Indian directors.[1][2]
Background
The festival is initiative of Indian television channel Zee Zindagi which broadcasts Pakistani television shows. It is participated by Aparna Sen, Bejoy Nambiar, Nikhil Advani, Ketan Mehta, Tanuja Chandra, and Tigmanshu Dhulia from India and Sirajul Haque, Mehreen Jabbar, Shahbaz Sumar, Sabiha Sumar, Khalid Ahmed and Meenu Gaur-Farjad Nabi from Pakistan.[3] The directors gathered at Wagah Border from Amritsar to share the collaboration.[4] The festival will be held in India and also in Pakistan and will later aired on Zee Zindagi.[5][6]
