Zhang Ji (died 223),[1] courtesy name Derong, was a military general of the state of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period. During the Battle of Tong Pass, Zhang helped defend Chang'an together with Xiahou Yuan. According to the records of history, Zhang Ji later became the protector of Yong Province and then later Liang Province. Zhang Ji earned quite a bit of merit for his administration. His son, Zhang Ji (張緝), served as a politician in Wei.
