Zhang Jieqing

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Zhang.

Zhang Jieqing (Chinese: 张洁清; pinyin: Zhāng Jiéqīng; Wade–Giles: Chang Chiehch'ing1, October 1912-27 May 2015) was a Chinese politician and writer, member of Communist Party of China.[1] In 1933, Zhang Jieqing was arrested by the Kuomintang and stayed in jail for a few months. After that she graduated from Beijing Normal University. During the Cultural Revolution, she suffered political persecution and was put in prison for seven years.[2] She was wife of Peng Zhen.[3] Zhang was died of illness on 27 May 2015.[4]
