Zhongshanba Station (Chinese: 中山八站; literally: "Zhongshan 8th Road Station"), formerly Zhongshan Balu Station (Chinese: 中山八路站; literally: "Zhongshan 8th Road Station") during planning,[1] is a station on Line 5 of the Guangzhou Metro [2] in Guangzhou, China. It is located under the junction of Zhongshan 8th Road (中山八路) and Huangsha Avenue (黄沙大道) in the commercial area of the Liwan District, near Liwan Lake (Chinese: 荔湾湖) and Guangzhou-Foshan Coach Terminal (Chinese: 广佛客运站).[3][4] It opened on 28 December 2009.[5]
