Zhongshanba Station (Chinese: 中山八站; literally: "Zhongshan 8th Road Station"), formerly Zhongshan Balu Station (Chinese: 中山八路站; literally: "Zhongshan 8th Road Station") during planning,^[1] is a station on Line 5 of the Guangzhou Metro ^[2] in Guangzhou, China. It is located under the junction of Zhongshan 8th Road (中山八路) and Huangsha Avenue (黄沙大道) in the commercial area of the Liwan District, near Liwan Lake (Chinese: 荔湾湖) and Guangzhou-Foshan Coach Terminal (Chinese: 广佛客运站).^[3][4] It opened on 28 December 2009.^[5]
