Zhongshi Korean International School

Zhongshi Korean International School is the original name of Weihai Zhongshi International School (WZIS), an international school located in the Chinese city of Weihai. WZIS was founded in 2006 by Mr. Moody Lee, a Korean businessman, called to serve students in China.

WZIS is an English speaking international school that follows the UK and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curricula. The mission of WZIS is to guide our students into becoming servant leaders, with a passion to go out into the world ready to help, and serve others. In 2016 WZIS was awarded international accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Although a young school, WZIS has grown quickly and already students can be found studying at top universities around the globe. The IGCSE results consistently exceed international averages and students have enjoyed success in multiple areas such as science fair competitions (INTEL), sports and debating.

WZIS is also known for its tight community. New students and staff settle quickly, and we work hard to ensure that every member of the school feels welcome and a part of WZIS’s future. Frequent community events help to develop positive relationships and our ZKIS Festival, Christmas productions, and orchestra concerts are key features of any calendar.
