Zigmunds Skujiņš
Zigmunds Skujins (born 1926) is a Latvian writer. He was born and raised in Riga. He started working as a journalist in his early 20s, working in both print and broadcast media. His first short story appeared in 1948, and he has since published many novels and short story collections. His work has often been adapted for stage and screen. He has received numerous national and international literature awards. He has also been translated in several European languages.[1]
