Zimperium is a privately owned mobile security start-up based in San Francisco, California, and Tel Aviv, Israel. The company was founded in 2010 by CEO Itzhak "Zuk" Avraham and CTO Elia Yehuda.
Solutions and products include zIPS, zCONSOLE and zANTI.
The company has raised over $20M from private investors including Samsung, Telstra, Sierra Ventures and Stephen Northcutt.[1][2]

- October 2010: ZIMPERIUM founded, originally as a consulting company specializing in smart device security.
- July 2011: ANTI (Android Network Toolkit), later renamed ZANTI, Android-based penetration testing framework launched at Blackhat/Defcon, Las Vegas, NV.[3]

- January 2014: ZIMPERIUM Mobile IPS (zIPS) is available as general availability for businesses. According to MIT Technology Review, zIPS use Machine Learning to learn and detect attacks completely in user-mode.[9]

- Mobile Diagnostics Toolkit (zANTI) is used by over 180,000. Mostly used by professional users: IT Managers and Penetration Testers[10]
- zIPS – Mobile IPS (Network): Is the first tool to prevent network attacks completely in user-mode without root permissions. The technology behind zIPS Network IPS invented by ZIMPERIUM and is known as Non-Intrusive-Packet-Monitoring technique [11]
- zIPS – Mobile IPS (Host): Technology does not rely on signatures database.[12] zIPS is the first security tool to detect threats such as Download-and-execute payloads outside of its own sandbox using artificial intelligence, completely in user-mode[13] without system permissions [14]
