Zodwa Nsibande

Zodwa Nsibande is the General Secretary of the Abahlali baseMjondolo youth league.[1][2] She has been critical of the impact of the FIFA 2010 World Cup on shack dwellers in Durban.[3]

In 2006 she was badly burnt in a shack fire.[4][5] In 2009 she had to go into hiding following threats and attacks against her[6] and various other Abahlali baseMjondolo leaders.[7]
