Ágnes Kovács (born 13 July 1981)[1] is an Olympic and national record holding former breaststroke swimmer from Hungary. She swam from Hungary at the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Olympics. At the 2000 Olympics, she won the Women's 200 Breaststroke.

At the 2000 Olympics, she set the Hungary Records in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes (1:07.79 and 2:24.03). As of 2014, these records still stand.[2]

She was named Hungarian Sportswoman of the Year four consecutive years, from 1997-2000. She was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 2014.[3]
