Łukasz Teodorczyk (Polish pronunciation: [ˈwukaʂ tɛɔˈdɔrt͡ʂɨk]; born June 3, 1991 in Żuromin) is a Polish footballer who currently plays for Ukrainian club Dynamo Kyiv.
Career
Club
Teodorczyk joined Polonia Warsaw in January 2010,[1] and made his Ekstraklasa debut on 29 October 2010. During his first season at Polonia (2010/2011), he played 21 games in the Młoda Ekstraklasa, scoring 15 goals, and also played six games in the senior league.
Dynamo Kyiv
On the 27th of August 2014, Teodorczyk signed a 5-year contract with Ukrainian club Dynamo Kyiv who reportedly paid €4 million for the transfer. He made his debut for Dynamo on the 30th of August 2014 in a 2-0 win against Chornomorets Odesa. He came on as a substitute on the 85th minute, and approximately 15 seconds after he came on he made an assist which made the score 2-0. On the 13th of September 2014, Teodorczyk scored his first goal for Dynamo in a 2-2 draw against Zorya Luhansk. In his first season with Dynamo he reached the quarter finals of the Europa League getting knocked out by Fiorentina 1-3 on aggregate. In the 6 matches he played in the Europa League he scored 3 goals against the likes of Steaua București, EA Guingamp and Everton. He helped his team win the Ukrainian Premier League (Which was also his first league title) in his first season scoring 5 goals in 13 appearances. He also helped his team win the Ukrainian Cup in his first season despite the fact that he got an injury during the semi-final match against Olimpik Donetsk and was out for 2 months, which meant that he missed the final where Dynamo beat Shakhtar Donetsk 5-4 in the penalty shoot-out. Even though Teodorczyk left Lech Poznań in August 2014 he had played 4 games and scored 3 goals in that season, and in May 2015 Lech won the Ekstraklasa for which Teodorczyk got a medal.
On 24 November 2015, Teodorczyk made his UEFA Champions League debut on Matchday 5 in the group stage against Portuguese club FC Porto away from home, coming on as a substitute on the 87th minute. Despite not scoring in that match, Dynamo had still won 0-2. He helped Dynamo reach the 1/8 of the UEFA Champions League that season without scoring a goal, getting eliminated by Manchester City 1-3 on aggregate.
International
After playing for the Poland national under-20 football team,[2] Teodorczyk became a striker for the U-21 team and scored two goals in Poland's first qualification game for the European U-21 Football Championship.
