Żabnik [ˈʐabɲik] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Biała, within Prudnik County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) east of Biała Prudnicka, 15 km (9 mi) north-east of Prudnik, and 32 km (20 mi) south-west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
