Żakowice [ʐakɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nowe Skalmierzyce, within Ostrów Wielkopolski County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north of Skalmierzyce, 23 km (14 mi) north-east of Ostrów Wielkopolski, and 100 km (62 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań.
The village has a population of 90.
