Ženski košarkaški klub Željezničar Sarajevo (English: Women's Basketball Club Željezničar Sarajevo) is a Bosnian women's basketball team from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

History

Season in 1982. ŽKK Željezničar compete in the second division of Yugoslavia, with great success and without lost the match, led by coach Miodrag Vesković won first place and the club returned to the First division. With a very small selection of players that thrives in season 1983-84 Elections to survive in the first division. The following season 1984-85 team is extremely amplified by a pair of showgirl including the Vesna Bajkuša (showgirl youth branches ŽKK Željezničar), and manages to capture excellent 4th place and thus win the right to contest the Cup Liliana Ronchetti. With inexperienced and with a very young player turns in the first round of the Montmontaža from Zagreb. The following season he again won the 1985-86 4th place in the championship of Yugoslavia and then left in the Cup Liliana Ronchetti, this time manages to be better than the representatives of Greece and Italy. On the losing end of representatives of Czechoslovakia (WBC Slavia Prague).
