Žabjek (pronounced [ˈʒaːbjɛk]) is a small settlement in the Municipality of Trebnje in eastern Slovenia. It lies north of Velika Loka. The area was traditionally part of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.[2]
