1908 Virginia Cavaliers football team
The 1908 Virginia Cavaliers football team represented the University of Virginia in the 1908 college football season. Led by first year coach Merritt Cooke, Jr., the team went 7–0–1 and were one of two teams given the mythical title of Southern champion.[1]
