The 1978 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was played from May to September, 1978. After Dublin winning back-to-back titles in 1976 & 1977, Kerry stormed back to win the 1978 Championship, thrashing Dublin in the final by 17 points. It was also the start of Kerry's unprecedented "Four In A Row" of All-Ireland titles.
