The 1982 Players Championship was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour contested March 18–21 at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. It was the ninth Players Championship. Jerry Pate won the tournament by two strokes over Scott Simpson and Brad Bryant.
