The 2000 Players Championship was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour contested March 23–27 at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. It was the 27th Players Championship. Hal Sutton won the tournament by a stroke from Tiger Woods. Because of bad weather, the tournament was completed on the Monday, March 27.
