1992–93 San Antonio Spurs season
The 1992-93 NBA season was the Spurs' 17th season in the NBA and 26th season as a franchise.[1] The Spurs acquired Dale Ellis from the Milwaukee Bucks during the offseason. Terry Cummings suffered a serious knee injury during the summer, and only played in the final eight games of the season. The Spurs finished second in the Midwest Division with a 49-33 record. Sean Elliott was selected for the 1993 NBA All-Star Game along with David Robinson. In the playoffs, they defeated the fourth seeded Portland TrailBlazers in the Western Conference Quarterfinals, but lost to the Phoenix Suns in the semifinals. It was also their final year playing at HemisFair Arena.
