The 1994 Michigan State Spartans football team competed on behalf of Michigan State University in the Big Ten Conference during the 1994 NCAA Division I-A football season. Head coach George Perles was in his twelfth and last season with the Spartans. Perles was fired on November 8, though he was allowed to coach the remaining games on the schedule.[1] Michigan State played their home games at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan. The Spartans went 5–6 overall and 4–4 in conference play during the regular season, but had their 5 wins forfeited by MSU president M. Peter McPherson in response to grade tampering and other infractions.[2][3][4]
