The 2003–04 season was the 15th season of the Orlando Magic in the National Basketball Association (NBA).[1] The Magic lost 21 games more than the previous season, falling to a league-worst 21–61 record, the franchise's worst record since 1991–92.

After a 1–10 start, coach Doc Rivers was fired and replaced by Johnny Davis.

It was Tracy McGrady's final season with the Magic before being traded to the Houston Rockets in the off-season. He led the league in scoring with 28.0 ppg for the season.

Grant Hill missed the entire season due to continuing ankle problems.
