The 2004–05 season was the 114th season in Liverpool F.C.'s existence, and their 43rd consecutive year in the top-flight. This article covers the period from 2004-07-01 to 2005-06-30.
Liverpool finished the season in fifth position in the Premier League, but won their fifth European Cup by beating A.C. Milan in the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final 3-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw.[2]
