Berkhamsted Town and Stourport Swifts were reprieved from relegation as they were the two clubs in the relegation zones of the Midland and South & West Divisions with the highest points total. These two clubs were not relegated due to space created by clubs moving across to the restructured first divisions of the Northern Premier League and Lymington & New Milton (of the South & West Division) and Solihull Borough withdrawing from the league.
