2012–13 LVBP season
Venezuelan Professional Baseball League 2012/13 The season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League 2012/13 (lvbp by its acronym in Spanish) is the 65th edition of this tournament. Begin on October 11, 2012. A total of eight teams will participate in the competition as in the previous season. The top five teams placed in the regular round will get a direct quota or Round Robin robin. The tournament will be played this season in honor of Luis Aparicio Ortega, who played in Major League between 1931 and 1954 with teams like Magellan, Elders of Vargas and Gavilanes, in addition to being manager of the Aguilas del Zulia and father of infielder Luis Aparicio
