The 2012 FIBA Under-17 World Championship was an international basketball competition held in Kaunas, Lithuania from June 29 – July 8, 2012. It was the second edition of the Under-17 World Championships.

The United States won its second championship[1] and Jahlil Okafor was named MVP.[2]

Qualification

12 teams have qualified for this year's edition.[3]
