The 2016 FIBA Under-17 World Championship is an international basketball competition that is scheduled to be held in Spain from June 23 – July 3, 2016. It will be the fourth edition of the FIBA Under-17 World Championship. Sixteen (16) national teams are expected to compete in the tournament.[1]
On March 12, 2016, during the FIBA Central Board meeting held in Mies, Switzerland, it was announced that the city of Zaragoza will host both Under-17 World Championships for Men and Women.[2]
