The 2013–14 Hertha BSC season was the 121st season in club history.

Background

Hertha BSC won the 2012–13 2. Bundesliga[1] and qualified for this season's Bundesliga. Pre-season started on 23 June.[2] 500 fans showed up to the first pre–season training session.[2]

Hertha signed Hajime Hosogai,[3] Alexander Baumjohann,[4] Sebastian Langkamp, and[5] Johannes van den Bergh.[6] Hertha BSC loan in Per Ciljan Skjelbred and Tolga Ciğerci.[7] Alfredo Morales,[8] Marvin Knoll,[9][10] Shervin Radjabali-Fardi,[11] Daniel Beichler,[12] Marco Djuricin,[13] Roman Hubník[14] left Hertha. Felix Bastians was loaned out.[15]
