The 2013 Portland Timbers season was the 3rd season for the Portland Timbers in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top flight professional soccer league in the United States and Canada.

Background

Caleb Porter was announced as the Timbers head coach on August 29, 2012, but finished out coaching his final year at the University of Akron. He was introduced as the head coach on January 8, 2013.[1]
