The 2015–16 season is the 119th season of competitive football in Scotland. The domestic season began on 25 July 2015, with the first round of the 2015–16 Scottish Challenge Cup.^[1] The 2015–16 Scottish Professional Football League season commenced on 1 August.^[1]
