Nürburgring (GP-Strecke)

The 2015 6 Hours of Nürburgring was an endurance sports car racing event held at Nürburgring, Nürburg, Germany on 28–30 August 2015. This event served as the fourth race of the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship.

The No. 17 Porsche Team car of Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley and Mark Webber took their first victory of the 2015 season,[1] finishing a lap clear of team-mates Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb in the No. 18 car. The LMP1 podium was completed by the No. 7 Audi Sport Team Joest car of Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer. In the other classes, the LMP2 honours were taken by the No. 47 car of KCMG, driven by British triumvirate Matthew Howson, Richard Bradley and Nick Tandy; they finished seventh overall. LMGTE Pro honours were also taken by Porsche, with Team Manthey taking a 1–2; Michael Christensen and Richard Lietz finished a lap clear of Frédéric Makowiecki and Patrick Pilet. LMGTE Am honours went to SMP Racing's No. 72 car of Aleksey Basov, Andrea Bertolini and Viktor Shaitar.
