The 2016 Copa Verde to be the 3rd edition of a football competition held in Brazil. Featuring 18 clubs, Pará has three vacancies; Amazonas, Distrito Federal, Goiás, and Mato Grosso with two each and Acre, Amapá, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins. The champion will earn the spot in the 2017 Copa Sudamericana.[1]
